Terrorism is a scary thing and so is the threat of your neighbors hacking into your computer to steal your person information. I, unfortunately, have been the victim on identity theft. It was a long tedious process of putting my life back together, however, unlike most people I found out who stole my identity. While chatting with my neighbors around the block one of their sons came out to join the conversation. While talking to me about how he has a new job and is banking with a particular bank, he mentioned my account there. I was completely surprised to hear him say that because that account is my secret stash of money from my father that not even my husband knows about. I quickly realized that he must have stolen my identity and I think he realized his mistake at that moment too. So I will never leave my computer unprotected again. Who knows how many bored neighborhood kids you have. This could be easily be avoided with a well encrypted private proxy server, as this kid easily broke into my Internet connection.
